Tabs Dialog Box

The Tabs Property Page.

The Tabs Property Page allows the user to add a small graphic next to the text on any of your tabs, setup your tabs as tabbed or arrowed and setup your tab alignment.

The Edit Visuals button takes you to the tab editor window so you can change the appearance of the tabs.

Add/change a graphic on a tab

1. Select a tab on the menu on the left of the property page.

2. Use the ellipsis (...) button to find a new image.  The best image size is 15x15 pixels.

You will see your new image appear next to the text on the tab.

A picture can be added to a tab.

The Tab Display Type

The Tab Layout has two settings:

Tabbed will display all of the pages in rows of tabs, according to how many Tabs per row you set.  Do not set the tabs per row higher than the total number of tabs that are viewable.

Tabbed Navigation System.

Arrowed will display one tab at a time, and will allow you to navigate by clicking the blue arrows on the right and left of the tab.  You can also navigate through the arrowed tab by clicking on the tab itself.  This will give you a dropdown menu from which you can select the tab you would like to see.

When the Arrowed Tab Layout is selected a Tab Rotates check box appears.  When this box is selected, you can continue to use the right or left arrows on the sides of the tab to loop through all the available tabs.

The Arrowed Tab.

Tab Alignment will set the tabs on the top (as shown above), right, left (as shown below), or bottom of a window.
