Remote Control

This section describes how to control PM via an ethernet IP connection. To control PM via a pointer see section on keyboard and mouse

Currently the way to control PM remotely is thro 3rd party software like telnet or otherwise. A sample text based Client (PMSimpleClient) workspace is included

Setup

User Edit->Preferences goto the advanced setup here the Runing object table is shown on the right

To exit this mode select one of the layouts

Setting up the connection

In the Running Object Table The Server Socket component need to have the IP address of the machine set. If desired the port can also be set.

Protocol

Executes a Playlist

Playlist#1::Name = 1
Playlist#1::Name + // increment
Playlist#1::Name - // decrement

Select the Palette Item

Palette#1::Bibles::English Standard Version::James 3:4-5
Palette#1::Images::Misc::Image =1

Select the Toolbar Item

ToolbarMain::ToolbarScreen::Blank 1 = 1

Read state / List
