Adding Images and Movies to the Pallet

The Pallet is linked to an image and movie database on your computer.  By adding images and movies to this database you will be able to access those graphics through the pallet.

The Default Directory

Locate the Default DirectoryBy default all of the image folders are kept in the image directory in the Master Data File.  Typically this directory can be found at C:/CreativeLifestyles/MasterData/Images.  Inside this directory you will see several folders that contain images.  These folders make up the image subsets in the pallet. For example, if the Image directory contains a folder called "Misc" and another folder called "Backgrounds" then the Image tab on the pallet will give you access to the "Misc" image set and the "Background" image set.   Adding a new folder to the Image directory will add a new image subset to the pallet.

The movies are organized the same way as the images.  The movie directory is located at C:/CreativeLifestyles/MasterData/Movies.  Any movies you place in a subfolders of this directory will be accessible through the pallet.

Note: You may need to restart Presentation Manager in order to see new images or movies you have placed in the pallet.
Changing the Default Directory

Click the Edit Properties Button

The user can change the Image and Movie directory that is linked to the pallet. 

1. Click the "Edit Properties" button on the toolbar and select "Images" (or "Movies") from the dropdown menu.

2. Click the elipsis button (...) to locate a new directory for you images (movies).
