Using PowerPoint® in Presentation Manager

Presentation Manager can Integrate PowerPoint® presentations, as long as PowerPoint® is installed on the machine. 

Loading a PowerPoint Presentation®


In order to load a PowerPoint® presentation into Presentation Manager you will need a PowerPoint® compatible play-list.

  1. Click the "Edit Properties/Preferences" button .

    Click "Playlists".

  2. Click the "Add PowerPoint" button.  This will add a PowerPoint sequence to the Program.  Note right clicking on the tab will edit grid size name etc...

  3. Close the Playlist Property Page.

  4. Click the "Load" button on the Program Control Toolbar.  You can also load by right clicking on the newly created PowerPoint tab.
    Locate your PowerPoint® presentation to load it in the Playlist.

  5. If you have successfully loaded your presentation you will see it displayed slide by slide in the playlist.

Navigating a PowerPoint Presentation®


When a PowerPoint® presentation is loaded into Presentation Manager you can skip over slides, go back to previous slides, or switch to a completely different playlist.  However, there are a few controls that are helpful to understand.

  1. Whenever you click on a PowerPoint slide it will display the background for that slide and its first transition.  If you click the slide again it will advance to the the next transition.

  2. To advance to the next transition use the right arrow key on your keyboard.  You can navigate through and entire presentation just using the right arrow key.

  3. You can also navigate to the next slide by placing your mouse cursor on the projector screen and clicking.

  4. If your presentation is designed to run on its own, with all its own timing, use the "Run" button on the Screen Control Toolbar to play it.
