Configuring Print Output

Presentation Manager's printing system is based upon XML Stylesheets using Internet Explorer. The data output by the printing system is an XML file that  formatted by an XSL Stylesheet. This system allows for great flexability in creating and generating printed reports. For information about XSL/XSLT Stylesheets you can visit the wc3 website.

Playlist printing uses the following stylesheet c:\creative lifestyles\_bin\print.xsl. You can examine a playlist XML file by saving an playlist as an XSML file from the Program toolbar.

Reports generated by the song log use the following stylesheet c:\creative lifestyles\_PresentationManager\SongLog.xsl. You can see the structure of the XML file generated by the song log by examining either SongLog.xml or SongReport.xml found in the _PresentationManager folder.

By editing the XSL files you can output playlist printing and reports in virtually any layout you desire with a little knowledge of the XSL/XSLT scripting langauge and the limitiations of Internet Explorer.
