Quickly Edit Song Text

You are in the middle of service and you find an error in the text of a song.

Edit song text in the palette

1. Find the song in the palette and right-click its title.  This will launch the Song Editor.

Right-click the title of a song to edit its text.

2. Make the changes you need and be sure to save the song (you will need to use the file tab to save).  The changes you make will immediatly be available in the palette.  Editing a song in the palette may not affect a song that has already been added to the playlist.

Save your changes.


Edit the song in the Playlist.

1. Right-click the verse you need to edit and select "Preview".  This will place the verse in the Preview Window, without sending it to the projector.

Preview the Silde so you can edit the text.

2. Right-click in the green verse box on the Preview Window.  This will launch the text properties page.

Right-click the song in the Preview Window to edit.

3. Edit the text and close the property page.

Edit the text and close the window.
