Using the Spellchecker
On the
various edit pages for songs and text there is a Spell Check
button. This button
launches the Spell Checker.
The
Spell
Checker shows the text that is being checked and highlights the current
word
that it does not know in red. A list of suggestions is shown. By selecting a suggestion
and clicking the
'Change' button, you can correct the spelling.
Pressing the 'Change All' button will correct all
misspellings of
the highlighted word.
If
the
Spell Checker cannot come up with any suggestions for the word then the
suggestions box is disabled and a ‘No Suggestions’ message is shown. In
this
case you can either ignore the word or add it to the dictionary.
If you
wish
to ignore the current word then pressing the 'Ignore' button will skip
past
it. 'Ignore
All' will skip past all
occurrences of that particular word.
If
the word
is correctly spelled but the dictionary does not contain it, simply
press the
'Add to Dictionary' button to add it to the dictionary word list.
The
'Exit'
button cancels the spell checking and closes the Spell Checker.
The
Spell
Checker uses a default dictionary file (*.dic). This file is located in
‘C:\Program Files\ CreativeLifestles\ _bin\default.dic’. You can
replace the default dictionary with one of your own as long as the file
format is the same. In the dictionary data file each word is separated
by a '|'.
