Template define how songs Scripture or images are displayed The are different templates depending on whether the palette is pointing to Songs, Bibles or Images.

Template define the font, number lines, font attribute and colors any logo or additional info... There can be several template so the user can click on the one he wishes. The are easy to add remove and edit

Songs and Bible verses can be displayed directly from the palette. This is useful when you need to make a spontaneous change or addition to the service plan you prepared in the play list.  If you need to quickly display a song or Bible verse you do not need to create a new set of slides, you can simply display the verse or song you want directly from the palette.  Presentation Manager comes equipped with easy to change Templates for Song and Bibles verses that determine how the Song and Bible verses are displayed.

Two Bible Translations can be displayed at once by select the "Dual translations" template slide. With this selection now clicking any verse and it will appear in two translations the current and the default second translation

Right clicking on the selected Bible tab allows that translation to be the default 2nd translation, i.e. check "Bible*2"

Edit

  1. Right click on a template
  2. Select Show/Activate Entities: This shwo them in the preview to Edit
  3. In the viewer edit/delete add entities to the template slide
  4. On the template slide itself update the transition and transition times
  5. For song templates the properties define when the header and footer are displayed. This include the CCL number

  6. Typically for Font Rendering choose Fit To Fill on Overflow
    - this uses the number of lines but if the text does not fit then automatically adds lines as required

Creating Song or Bible Template

Drag a verse to the template and a new template slide is created
If this is dragged to the first location this become the default template

for dual Bible translational display, drag two verses onto the template.
The second will automatically show the other default Bible translation.
This secondary bible translation can be selected in preferences or right clicking on the Bible tab.

Create an Image Template

To create drag an image into the template area
Clicking on a template slide select that transition...

Note

When a song is view in text mode a temporary template slide is created. By default this will include a header and for songs a footer also. The user can delete any of these Entities using the Edit described above

This is so if the user click on a new verse in the text window the same look is selected by default

Slide Creation

The template is use defines how a slide is created when a song, or Bible passage is dragged into the playlist

Labelling

  1. The software will look for a MAIN or HEADER or FOOTER (for songs only) field/li>
  2. If these fields do not exist the software will assume the MAIN is always a verse type entity the that the header and footer follow. Extra images or text is then ignored and just reapplied when a slide is used
