Terminology


There are a number of terms that are used throughout the manual that you will need to familiarize yourself with. Please take a little time to look at this list or refer back to it at any time.

Click - A click of the left mouse button.

Entity - An item on a slide, can be a piece of text an image etc.

Palette - A collection of related data, To inlcude images movies, slides, songs Bibles....

Playlist or Sequence - A sequential collection of Slides and Tools that make up a presentation
  • A playlist is saved as a .tSQ file (tagged sequence)
  • A collection of playlists is save as a .tPG. (tagged Program)


    • Sequence - See playlist.

    Slide - The basic presentation object that holds entities which can included text and images among other items.

    Tab - A folder that hold a collection of data.

    ROI - Region of Interest, visibel as a box on the preview tahn can be sized move and rotated

    Tool - An item from the Tool Palette that is used in presentation creation. eg. clok, Text Object...

    Template - This is a slide that defines the transition, font, number lines, font attribute and colors any logo or additonal info typically used for Songs and Bible verses and image display

    Workspace - An file that contains program configuration and current playlists.
  • A workspace is saved as a .tWS file (tagged Workspace)
