Connecting Multiple Projectors
Presentation Manager (professional) has the
unique ability to control the output to two projectors separately from
one computer. To enable this feature in Presentation Manager you
will need more than dual display, you will need triple display.
Triple Display Hardware Setup (Desktop
Only)

 |
One card will connect to
your main video slot (AGP or PCI Express).
|
The second card will be
placed in a standard PCI slot.
|
Setting up a triple display system is similar to setting up a
dual display system, except you will need two separate dual display
cards instead of one. While the presence of two dual display
cards will enable your computer to display four distinct outputs, we
will only make use of three: one for your computer monitor, and two for
your projectors. You will need two different graphics cards, one
AGP or PCI Express (depending on your motherboard) and the second will
need to be a PCI card.
Place the first graphics card in your main video port. This port
should either be AGP or PCI express depending on your mother
board. Connect both of your projectors to this first card.
Place the second graphics card in an open PCI slot. You will want
to connect your monitor to this card.
You will want to connect both of your
projectors to your main video port (AGP or PCI Express). This is
because the PCI card will not be powerful enough to run your live video
or movies smoothly. Presentation Manager is designed in such a
way that the operator screen does not stream videos, so it is not
important for the computer monitor to be connected to a fast video
card. On the other hand it is very important for the projectors
to run video smoothly, so we recommend connecting them to the main
video card and your monitor to the PCI card.
