IO Mouse Collection
The IO Mouse Collection tool works almost exactly like the IO Pointer Collection excepting that the program chooses to use the default mouse instead of allowing the user to choose a pointing device.
Using the IO Mouse Collection
Drag and drop the IO Mouse Collection tool from the ROTIO palette to the ROTMain.
Right-click select "edit" to enter into the tool's property pages.
Select the Mouse Tab.
Mouse
On
the right side of the Mouse Tab's page are a list of IO's that will
have movements that are connected to the mouse. These will be entered
into the Digital IO Manager.
Each
movement has a number listed with it to correspond to its placement in
the IO. To view this number click on the movement (for example "left
button") to view its title and placement number. The placement of the
IO's can be altered in the IO Collection Tab page. These will be
listed in the boxes located on the right side of the page.
IO Collection
The IO Collection tab allows the user to add, subtract, or move IO's.
The
list of IO commands is listed on the left side of the page. This list
contains all of the IO's that are listed on the Pointer Tab Page.
The
user may add additional IO's to the list by typing the name into the
"Name" box, deciding the type of IO using the dropdown menu listed
under IO Type, and selecting the "+" button to add it to the list.
The
user may change the location of the IO's by useing the "^" and "~"
buttons. The "^" will move the selected IO up one. The "~" will move
the selected IO down one.
To Remove an IO from the list click on it and then select the Remove button "-".
Once
all of these options have been completed the user must save and restart
the workspace. When the workspace is restarted the IO options will be
listed within the Digital IO Manager.
