IO Text Entity
This tool allows the user to write text
into a slide. It also allows for interactive text to be on the slide
using other tools like the IO Slider Entity. A link can be created between the tools to be displayed and interactive on a slide. This interaction will allow the tools to display the same numbers and allow them to be changed whenever needed.
Important note: in order for this to work the user must change the
Auto Refresh Time Interval to 100 in the CIF Viewer. The user can do
this by scolling down the ROTMain Menu and editing the "CIF Viewer #1"
(or whatever number viewer it is). Go to the "Viewer" page and type 100
into the Auto Refresh Time Interval box. If this is not done it will not appear to be working.Using the IO Text
Drag
the tool directly from its original placement onto the slide in the CIF
Viewer. This will bring up a box.
The user can adjust the size of the box before inputing any information by clicking and draging on the
corner or sides of the box. Clicking and draging the grid from the
center of the box will change the location of the box. These steps can
also be done once the text has been entered.
To begin the user can either type in what is needed or right click on the box for more in depth options.
Inputs
The Inputs
page allows the user to drag and drop one of the IO Tools onto the IO
box on the page. It also allows the user to place a set of variable's/parameter's
onto the page. These will not always need to be used. See the IO Slider Entity page to learn how to link the two tools together or scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Render Style

the slide. The user can change color, txt, size, number of lines, and
alignment.Entity
This
allows the user to adjust the Color, Highlight Color, Thickness, and
Handle size of the image box that holds the image and allows the user
to adjust the image. The Coordinate system adjusts the original
placement of the image on the screen.

Min: This allows the user to set the base line number to start with.
Max: This allows the user to set the top number to be worked with and displayed.
NBIncrement: Will allow the user to set how many dashes will be visibal on the slider.

To link the IO Slider with the IO Text Entity
Make sure the Parameters placed into the slider are the same parameters that are placed into the Text Entity.
For
Example: When you place your Parameters onto the inputs pages make sure
to select "ID" from the dropdown menu in both tools so that the numbers
will display in both tools.
In order to view the results the program must be out of configure mode and run.
The
user can either change the number in the Text Entity box by typeing it,
which will then change the numbers on the slider, or click and drag
where they want the slider to go until the number they want is
displayed in the Text Entity box.
When you are done it will look something like this:
