Socket Request
Before using this tool be sure to view the Serial Comms overview to learn to setup sockets in Automation Manager.
Using the Socket Request Tool
On the tools inputs page drag the "DigitalIOSocket" object off the ROT. Use the dropdown menu to select the socket.
On the tool's "Socket Request" tab use the check boxes to select to request the global parameters, results or both.
When the tool is run a request will be sent to the Socket selected on
the inputs page for the data checked on the "Socket Request" tab.
